This custom private sauna was designed and built to the client's individual project in the city of Dnipro, with a focus on comfortable, deep and long-lasting steaming. The spacious steam room is created for true connoisseurs of quality relaxation, where every detail works towards a feeling of warmth, cosiness and relaxation.
Materials: cedar and thermo-aspen sauna
The finish uses high-quality cedar lining — a premium material for steam rooms that fills the space with the rich natural aroma of cedar and creates a special atmosphere. The benches are made of thermo-aspen — laminated thermally-treated wood that blends harmoniously with cedar, has a pleasant texture, is resistant to moisture and high temperatures, and is the ideal solution for areas in contact with the body.
Design and functional solutions of the project
Project highlights:
- an entrance zone in porcelain stoneware — practicality and durability;
- a large illuminated salt wall — the accent of the space, which not only looks striking but also enhances the wellness microclimate of the steam room;
- a two-level ceiling with heat-resistant lighting — adds depth to the space and creates soft, comfortable light;
- a wide upper bench for full relaxation and proper, deep steam;
- a "Second Breath" system — provides an inflow of fresh air and significantly extends the steaming session without loss of comfort.
Steam-room heating: HUUM 18 kW electric heater
The steam room is heated by a HUUM electric heater rated at 18 kW — a time-tested, reliable and aesthetic stove. Thanks to the significant mass of stones (about 250 kg), it delivers not only the classic sauna mode but also brings you close to the sensations of a real bathhouse with soft, moisture-rich steam.
At the client's individual request, a protective guard was additionally made around the stove, which increases the level of safety and fits organically into the overall design of the steam room.
