Materials: thermo-linden sauna

The finish uses lining and bench timber made of thermo-linden — a practical, stable and durable material, ideal for turnkey sauna construction. At the client's request, the wood was additionally treated with a protective impregnation that increases its resistance to moisture and temperature and gives the surface a pleasant sheen.

Bench layout for a compact steam room

Project highlights:

• two-tier benches: the upper one spans the full width of the steam room, versatile and comfortable for all bathing procedures (you can either sit or lie down fully);
• the lower bench is ideally suited for comfortable seating;
• a Himalayan salt insert with decorative LED backlighting — creates an atmosphere of relaxation and promotes wellness;
• a juniper panel — when heated, it fills the steam room with a rich natural aroma beneficial for the respiratory tract;
• the stove area is clad with soapstone (talcomagnesite) tiles — a safe, heat-retaining and visually attractive material;
• a protective railing around the stove for additional visitor safety.

Steam-room heating: HUUM 12 kW electric heater

The steam room is heated by a HUUM electric heater rated at 12 kW — a modern, high-tech stove with a laconic design. Thanks to the significant mass of stones (about 250 kg), most of the heat is accumulated in the stones themselves, which produces long-lasting, rich and soft steam.

The stove is additionally fitted with a humidifier installed directly into the heater stones. It helps noticeably raise the humidity in the sauna and fills the air with a pleasant aroma through the use of essential oils, creating an even more comfortable and relaxing atmosphere.
